Adding a welcoming touch to your house -
This book is yet another great publication in the long line of ones from Lynette Jensen. I especially like this book because she has put the general instructions in the back. They are extremely detailed so if you need a refresher or to learn how to do a certain thing, you will find it there. I also like the general instructions in the back as some of use don't need to go over them and we can jump right into the patterns without having to page through the instructions.
There are 15 different patterns, two of which have a second color option and another one has two sizes - so you really get 18 patterns in all. These patterns include quilts, dust ruffles, pillows, bath rugs, wallhanging bags, shower curtains and pillow shams, in other words, a little something for every room in your home.
The patterns themselves contain a color photo, finished size and a fabric and supply list to start with. Then they go on to cutting and sewing instructions, complete with graphics to help you along. Putting the quilt together, quilting and binding suggestions complete the patterns. They are written in easy to follow language.
The warm earth tones are done in blues, greens, golds and red and will add a warm and welcoming touch to your home. Grab a copy and get quilting today.
