Artist Profile: Noor Adyono IR
Noor Adyono IR is a reputable interior designer based in Bandung. His interior design, wooden furnitures, decorative lamps and interior accessories company, M&N Design, has been established since 1983. While he dedicates most of his time for interior design projects and for managing his interior design company, still he always have time for expressing his arts sense into art work paintings.
Noor Adyono IR was born in the city of Surabaya, under the sign of Sagittarius, whose symbol, the Centaur with bow and arrow figure greatly in his works. In 1974, his family moved from Surabaya to Bandung when he was in the last year of his secondary study. One year later, 1975, he was accepted into the Faculty of Fine Arts & Design of Bandung Institute of Technology, the oldest technology university in Indonesia. He received his undergraduate degree in Interior Design.
Married to Mirna Lindayanti, they have now a daughter and two sons. Their eldest daughter, Widiastuti, is also a talented young interior designer graduated from the same school as her father. Widiastuti is currently working at Kualalumpur, as an Associate Interior Designer at S&A Architects and Interiors, Sdn Bhd, Malaysia.
